2023 is both the 175th anniversary of the first women's rights convention held in Seneca Falls, and the 100th anniversary of the introduction of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). Dozens of organizations are coming together in Seneca Falls this summer to host a weekend celebration of the anniversaries and bring awareness to the fight for the passage of ERA. On Saturday, July 22, 2023 the National Women's Hall of Fame will host a celebration including live music, food, and vendors. The celebration is to honor the historic fight for women's rights as well as encourage the continued fight. The celebration will be held at 1 Canal St. Seneca Falls, NY, kicks off with a one-mile run with Kathrine Switzer at 5pm and concludes at 8pm.
